What we measured across 675 live pages

The distinction between a website and a campaign page is not pedantry — it decides what goes on the page. A site is built to be browsed, so it offers choices; a campaign page is built to be acted on, and our corpus shows how often competing choices dilute the ask.

40.7%

of 675 pages asked for exactly one thing. The rest split the visitor's attention across two or more competing primary actions.

30.7%

of 675 pages had no call to action anywhere in the body of the page. Buttons in the nav, header and footer are excluded from this count — a sticky header's “Get started” measures the header's existence, not the page's.

What the research says

Durable's output is a small-business site, and site templates are where accessibility failures are inherited wholesale rather than authored. Measured at scale the failure rate is near-universal, and the most common failure — missing form labels — sits precisely on the element a lead-capture page depends on.

OBSERVATIONAL — MEASURED FROM PAGES OR RECORDS AS FOUND

95.9% of home pages had detectable WCAG 2 failures, averaging 56.1 errors per page — up 10.1% year on year, reversing a six-year improvement. Missing form labels affected 51.0% of pages and missing alt text 53.1%.

Limitation: Automated detection on home pages only, so it under-counts failures a scanner cannot see and says nothing about pages deeper in a site. An error count is not a measure of how unusable a page actually is.

STATED PREFERENCE — WHAT PEOPLE SAID, NOT WHAT THEY DID

Trust ranked first of five dimensions and personalization last. Every trust feature tested — user reviews and ratings, guarantees and refund policies, and detailed descriptions — scored above 78%.

Limitation: A convenience sample recruited over social media, measuring what respondents said they valued rather than what they did. Personalization ranked last overall but significantly higher among 35–44s, so the ordering is not uniform across ages.

Where LeadzLander is the better choice

The verdict

Choose Durable if the client needs a website — somewhere to live, be found, and look real — and you want it up in a minute with a free domain. For that job it is cheaper and better suited than we are.

Choose LeadzLander when the client already has a website and needs a page for one campaign, where every element exists to produce one action. Note that Durable gives you a custom domain and we do not.
