Framer vs Webflow (2026): Price, Limits and Who Each One Is For

Last reviewed 25 July 2026 · every price checked against Framer's and Webflow's own pricing pages on that date

Framer is cheaper and faster for a marketing site: $10/mo Basic, $30/mo Pro. Webflow is $15/mo Basic, $25/mo Premium for the site, but seats are billed separately — $19/mo Core upward, plus $39 per extra full seat. Where Framer wins

  • Cheaper to start and simpler to reason about: one site plan, one number. Webflow makes you buy a site plan and a workspace plan before a second person can edit anything.
  • Faster from blank canvas to published page. Framer is a design tool first, so a marketing site with heavy motion is quicker to build there.
  • A/B testing is at least purchasable through the Convert add-on. Webflow's pricing page lists no testing feature at all.
  • $10/mo Basic includes a custom domain, where Webflow's equivalent is $15/mo.

Where Webflow wins

  • Far more room on the entry plan: 300 static pages on Basic against Framer's 30, and Framer charges $20 per additional 100 pages past the limit.
  • A real, mature CMS on Premium at $25/mo, and structured content at a scale Framer's collection limits do not reach.
  • Actual ecommerce — three tiers from $29/mo. Framer's pricing page lists no store plan.
  • Built for teams: staging sites, reviewer access and a defined seat model, rather than a flat per-editor surcharge.

The verdict

Choose Framer if you are one person shipping a marketing site quickly and design quality matters more than content scale — it is cheaper, simpler, and the page limit will not bite you. Choose Webflow if you have a real content operation, more than a handful of editors, or anything to sell: the CMS, the seat model and the store are the things Framer's price does not buy you.
